Perimeter Security Products
Sensol offers a broad range of electronic perimeter intrusion detection systems to meet security demands within indoor and outdoor environments. Sensol offers site planning, design assistance, technical training and system commissioning services to ensure each system meets the customer's specific needs.
SENSOL LineDetect - Buried Detection System
A buried detection system for applications where covert perimeter protection is essential. Suitable for a broad range of outdoor applications primarily protection of buildings, construction sites, power and water stations, military installations and the like.
The main system component is a cable which is easily placed 20 centimetres below the ground surface using basic implements and in most instances there are no visible signs that the cable has been laid.
An intruder triggers an alarm which is electronically transmitted to a given location such as a security centre or a mobile security vehicle identifying the section of the cable where the intrusion occurred. Location of intrusion can be determined to within 10 metres.

SENSOL AreaDetect - Above Ground Multi-sensor System
The above ground multi-sensor unit comprises multiple integrated sensors including acoustic, seismic, magnetic and visual supported by triaxial accelerometers - the key sensor which allows movement detection in three directions which assists in determining false alarms and detecting if the sensor is moved. A GPS subsystem is included for self-geolocation and ease of deployment. Primarily suitable for military applications.

SENSOL FenceDetect - Perimeter Fence Security System
FenceDetect is used to monitor boundary and internal fences. It provides automatic detection of intrusions. It can be used to monitor fences of any size from a short fence between buildings to a complete airport or military base boundary fence. Detection is via sensors mounted on fence panels. Tests in the US have shown the SMFS algorithms produce results that exceed US standards for high security installations.

SENSOL IndoorDetect - Indoor Security System
IndoorDetect provides simple and cost-effective security for all indoor applications including homes and other buildings. The integrated system comprises a series of floor mats connected electronically which detect any footsteps on the mats or vibrations from persons stepping or leaping over the mats.
Any intruder stepping on any of the mats triggers an alarm which is electronically transmitted to a given location such as the homeowner, a security centre or a mobile security vehicle. This covert alarm can be complemented by overt alarms including lights and noise alerts to deter intruders. Camera options are also available to assist with visual recognition of intruders.

Alarm Monitoring and Control Systems
Sensol offers advanced, fully-integrated security management tools that monitor, display and control the complete range of perimeter security devices shown above, as well as a wide range of third-party perimeter security equipment.
Tracking Systems
Sensol is developing sensor tracking systems for various purposes. The Active RFID tag monitoring device is the first product in Sensol's sensor tracking range. Further products will be available later in the year.
SENSOL Active - RFID tag monitoring device
The Sensol Active RFID tag monitoring system consists of numerous TAGS that communicate wirelessly with a BASE central site. When in range of a BASE, a TAG will respond with its unique identification number enabling recognition of each individual tag when in range of the BASE. In addition, each BASE has its own unique ID allowing a network of BASEs to be set up in a specific area to enable tracking of a moving tag through the area.

Wide Area Monitoring
Sensol's long range seismic monitoring system is able to locate projectile impact sites in an impact area across hundreds of square kilometres. In a typical deployment a number of Seismic sensor and data recorder units are placed in a grid pattern in the impact area with a spacing of about 20km. The GPS unit in each sensor node allows their position to be known without the need to accurately position them. It also provides an accurate timestamp for the recorded seismic data. For increased sensitivity each sensor node is placed at low points in the terrain while the repeater units are placed within a line of sight nearby on highpoints to increase their range of operation.
Seismic sensor and data recorder unit
The seismic sensor and data recorder unit comprises a geophone connected to a robust metal box containing microprocessors, real-time clock, GPS, rechargeable battery, and satellite modem. Optional solar panels provide continuous battery life. The unit can receive signals accurately over large distances up to 50km depending upon terrain. Sensol is able to integrate up to 100 sensor units into a single system covering thousands of square kilometres.
Signals once received are transmitted via satellite modem to a web-enabled central location. Sensol uses advanced signal analysis techniques to interpret data and identify event locations to 20 metres.
