Sensor Based Tracking Systems

Sensol has developed state-of-the-art tracking systems for use in various applications. The sensor tracking system consists of numerous tags that communicate wirelessly with a control site. When in range of the central site a tag will respond with its unique identification number enabling tracking of each individual tag when in range of the control site. Each control site has its own unique identity allowing a network of control sites to be set up in a specific area to enable tracking of a moving tag through the area. The tags can be placed on moving objects such as vehicles, water based vessels, aircraft, etc. The tags are small, light weight, low power and able to be detected at long ranges. The control sites can be either fixed or mobile allowing permanent installations to track tags as well as temporary installations such as in-vehicle use or road-side use. The control sites also have the capability to send data via the current GPRS (GSM) cellular network to communicate to a major central site that logs all information about the system and tags. Sensol is currently developing a tracking system for a major government client and is in discussions with other organisations regarding further applications.
