Sensol has developed advanced sensor systems with the ability to monitor water flows into catchment areas and areas where access is difficult or expensive. The system design allows for collection of information such as water quality, soil condition, together with long term weather forecasting to assist with the equitable and efficient distribution of water for irrigation and environmental purposes. The system utilises conventional sensors supplemented by new sensors currently being developed in-house by Sensol. A major breakthrough has been achieved for the measurement of dissolved organic materials in water and a provisional patent is being applied for.
